Renee also looks after the conveyancing practice of our firm and is certified by the Office of State Revenue to perform in-house stamping of documents. Renee manages mortgage files from the time of receiving instructions from the lender to settlement and completing registration. Renee has experience in preparing facility documentation such as Security Deeds, Deeds of Priority, Guarantees, Factoring Agreements and all other commercial agreements. Renee acts for lenders in ensuring proper execution, stamping and registration of company charges. Renee has a depth of experience in registration and preparing certifications on which lender clients rely to advance moneys to borrowers. These certifications go to matters such as proper execution of the security documents and advising in respect of any prior securities on the PPSR register. Renee has experience in reviewing discretionary and unit trust arrangements where borrowers act as trustees to ensure the trustee’s capacity to enter into the transaction. Renee acts for bankruptcy trustees when they realize their interest in real property. Renee’s experience in this area involves both acting on straight forward residential and commercial property sales preparing contracts for sale, attending settlement and also in more complex buy-back arrangements where the bankrupt remains in the property and the bankruptcy trustee relinquishes their interest in a property in consideration for payment by third party purchasers.
